We are continuously adding automated connections to new vehicle models. To check if your vehicle supports an automated connection with Rightcharge, follow the steps here (see steps 3. and 4. , including the associated screenshots).
If your vehicle does not support an automated connection with Rightcharge, don't worry! We'll still be able to reimburse your home charging sessions based on either an automated connection with your home charger or manual uploads.
Attached below is a list of all EVs that Rightcharge offers automated connections with as of Feb 2025. An automated connection means that your vehicle automatically shares charging session data (when you charge, how much energy you use etc) with us.
- This can be used for fraud prevention - we cross-reference the vehicle's data with your home charger's / manually uploaded charge session data to make sure only charges of your business vehicle are reimbursed.
- If your home charger doesn't support an automated connection with Rightcharge, this data can also be used directly to reimburse you for your charging. We do not recommend this, as most vehicles capture less accurate data than the actual home chargers. Instead, we recommend manually sharing your home charger sessions' electricity usage & timing with us every month.
Wondering whether your vehicle shares sufficiently accurate data to be used instead of manual uploads if your home charger can't automatically connect with Rightcharge? Contact our customer support team and we'll tell you.
