Public Charging
If your fleet administrator has enabled public charging with Rightcharge for you, you will receive a physical Rightcharge charge card to tap at public charge points.
- If your fleet admin has enabled direct payment mode, any charging sessions you use your charge card for will be paid for by your employer. No money will enter or exit your own bank account.
- If your fleet admin has enabled expenses mode, any payments you use your charge card for will be made by you (specifically, the credit card you connect to the charge card). Your employer will then reimburse you, typically on a monthly basis.
If your fleet admin has set you to No access mode, you will not be able to use Rightcharge's public charging services. You can ask them to change this.
Home Charging
If your fleet administrator has enabled home charging with Rightcharge for you, you will have to share your home charging & energy tariff data with us - either automatically or manually.
- If your fleet admin has enabled direct payment mode, any electricity you use to charge your business vehicle in a given calendar month will automatically be paid for by your employer by the 16th of the following month, directly into your home energy supplier account. This is what we mean when we refer to home charging reimbursements by Rightcharge.
- If your fleet admin has enabled expenses mode, you will pay for the cost of charging your vehicle as part of your home electricity bill. Using the detailed charging report we generate for you, your employer will then reimburse you for your business vehicle charging costs, typically on a monthly basis.
If your fleet admin has set you to No access mode, you will not be able to use Rightcharge's home charging services. You can ask them to change this.
