Rightcharge supports integration with all UK home energy suppliers.
Integration simply means we can connect to your energy account and tariff so home charging costs are calculated accurately and, where applicable, reimbursed automatically.
What does energy supplier integration mean?
If your fleet admin has enabled direct payment for home charging (rather than expenses), Rightcharge needs to pay money directly into your home energy supplier account to cover your charging costs.
To do this, you must connect your home energy supplier account when setting up your Rightcharge driver account.
You will be asked to provide:
The name of your energy supplier
Your energy supplier account number
Your energy supplier login details (username or email, and password)
You can find step-by-step guides on how to connect your energy supplier in the Help Centre.
What about tariffs?
Rightcharge integrates with tariffs from all UK energy suppliers. This means most electricity tariffs can be connected automatically.
When your tariff is connected:
Your electricity unit rates are shared automatically
Dual-rate and multi-rate tariffs are supported
Rightcharge knows the exact cost of each charging session
If your tariff rates change, these updates are shared automatically.
If you change energy supplier, you will need to update this in the app yourself.
Because of this, we strongly recommend using the automated tariff connection option during setup.
Manual tariff entry
If you prefer not to connect your tariff automatically, you can enter your electricity unit rate or rates manually in the Rightcharge app or website.
If you choose this option:
You are responsible for keeping rates accurate and up to date
Changes to your tariff will not be tracked automatically
A guide on how to connect a tariff automatically or enter rates manually is available in the Help Centre.
Intelligent tariffs
If you are using an Intelligent tariff (a tariff where prices change dynamically based on demand), please let your fleet admin know.
They will need to contact Rightcharge so the correct setup can be applied.
